Hi!
My name is Christy Bosserman and I am the photographer of KidShotz. I reside in the Kansas City area with my husband Marty and our 3 children: son Payton 16, daughter Ashley 12, and son Parker 4. They are my most common subjects!!

I have taken a photography class but have gained most of my experience by taking A LOT of pictures. I have been taking pictures of kids and their activities for other people for close to 7 years. I have had enough requests for my pictures that I decided it was time to be able to benefit some for my time and enjoyment.

Since I hold down a full time position outside the home as well as mom, I realize the importance of having pictures that truly depict our children, our families, and our lives. While having a shot or two that is posed and formal is still always nice to have, I also value those that include people in their normal activities and surroundings. I will take the standard formal shots but I will also take those shots where you child is doing something that is unique to him/her or something fun. This may mean that they are not always looking directly at the camera. I prefer outside settings where it makes sense and will come to certain locations if that is necessary. I enjoy fun props and will encourage you to bring anything that is special to you that you would like to try to include in a sitting.

As my children have participated in competitive sports such as baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and cheerleading, I have taken many action shots in these locations. I have taken an additional variety of pictures including Senior photos, standard team pictures, Christmas card shots, birth announcements, families, teenagers, toddlers, and newborns. I hope that you enjoy some of my gallery photos as examples.
